How to permanently delete your Workzent account and understand what happens to your data.
Account deletion is permanent
Once your account is deleted it cannot be restored. Please read this page in full before submitting a deletion request.
How to request account deletion
Send a deletion request email
Email us at support@workzent.com with the subject line Account Deletion Request.
Include the following details in your email:
- Your registered work email address
- Your organization / company name
- Your employee ID (if known)
- Reason for deletion (optional)
Identity verification
Our support team will verify your identity against the registered account details. You may be asked to confirm your request from your registered email address or provide additional verification if required.
Processing
Once your identity is verified, we will process your deletion request within 7 working days. You will receive a confirmation email when the deletion is complete.
During this period your account will be deactivated and you will no longer be able to log in to the Platform.
What happens to your data
Data that is deleted
- •Login credentials and authentication tokens
- •Profile information (name, photo, contact details)
- •Device registration and session data
- •AI Copilot conversation history
- •Notification preferences and settings
- •User-generated content not required for compliance
Data retained for compliance
Certain records are legally required to be retained under Indian law (typically 3–7 years):
- •Attendance records and timesheets
- •Payroll and financial documents
- •Expense claims and reimbursement records
- •Audit logs and compliance data
- •Leave and approval history
Retained data is kept securely, inaccessible to you, and used solely for statutory and audit purposes.
